How the day runs
After passport control, your chauffeur is in the arrivals hall; the bags travel with you. A luxury people-carrier suits the day when there are more of you, or more luggage. The chauffeur brings you to the entrance of Highclere Castle and stays close for the return. If you want lunch away from the house, The Pheasant Inn is about 32 minutes from the gates. Pair it with Shaw House, about 25 minutes by road. The way back to Heathrow Airport is about an hour and 6 minutes — and the car can drop you at the terminal for an evening flight.
