The present 18-hole course opened in 1927 on 130 acres at Sandyhurst Farm, designed by David Herd, the professional at Littlestone. How the day runs
Each car is timed so the whole group reaches Ashford Golf Club before the first tee time. Each car can be a saloon for two or a people-carrier for four with bags. Drivers stay with the cars all day, so a late finish in the bar is no problem. Getting back to Mayfair takes around an hour and 21 minutes in clear traffic.
