Coventry Golf Club: a corporate day from London
A corporate golf day at Coventry Golf Club, from Mayfair or the City. From Mayfair it is around an hour and 47 minutes and 94.9 miles by way of the M1 and M45; from the City around an hour and 56 minutes. Coventry Golf Club advertises society days and visitor tee times on its own site. The mature parkland course covers about 120 acres of Warwickshire and plays to par 73, measuring 6,610 yards from the white tees. The R&A has chosen the course to host many Open Regional Qualifiers in recent years.
How the day runs
Guests are collected from offices, homes or hotels across London in the morning. A people-carrier takes a four-ball and their bags in one car. Drivers stay with the cars all day, so a late finish in the bar is no problem. Getting back to Mayfair takes around an hour and 47 minutes in clear traffic.
