Harleyford Golf Club: a corporate day from London
A corporate golf day at Harleyford Golf Club, from Mayfair or the City. The City is 38.4 miles away (around an hour and 7 minutes); Mayfair is 35.6 miles (around 55 minutes). Harleyford Golf Club advertises society days, corporate golf days and visitor tee times on its own site. Visitors are welcome to book tee times, and the course is drained well enough to stay playable all year. The 18-hole course plays to par 72 and about 6,903 yards, set in a natural downland landscape beside the River Thames at Marlow.
How the day runs
Cars pick up from the office door or each guest's address, timed for the first tee. Mix saloons and people-carriers to suit the group. Drivers stay with the cars all day, so a late finish in the bar is no problem. The return to the City is around an hour and 6 minutes, quicker after the evening rush.
