Heythrop Park Golf Club: a corporate day from London
Clients, colleagues and a round at Heythrop Park Golf Club: collected in London, home by evening. The City is 76.7 miles away (around an hour and 51 minutes); Mayfair is 73.9 miles (around an hour and 39 minutes). Day visitors can play the course, and society and corporate golf days are catered for by the on-site golf team. The Bainbridge Course is an 18-hole parkland championship layout playing to a par of 72, redesigned in 2009 by architect Tom MacKenzie.
How the day runs
Cars pick up from the office door or each guest's address, timed for the first tee. A people-carrier takes a four-ball and their bags in one car. Drivers stay with the cars all day, so a late finish in the bar is no problem. The return to the City is around an hour and 50 minutes, quicker after the evening rush.
