Woking Golf Club: a corporate day from London
From the office to Woking Golf Club for a company golf day. From Mayfair it is around 55 minutes and 33.2 miles by way of the A4 and M4; from the City around an hour and 7 minutes. Woking Golf Club advertises society days and corporate golf days on its own site. Visiting golfers need a bona fide handicap and play on set days, and the club welcomes societies and corporate golf days. The club was founded in 1893 by London barristers on heathland leased from the London Necropolis Company, making it Surrey's oldest heathland course.
