Henley Royal Regatta by chauffeur

Henley Royal Regatta at Henley Royal Regatta course, Henley-on-Thames. In 2027 it runs 29 June – 4 July. Over 400 races of international standard are staged across the week. First held in 1839 and run annually since, except for the World Wars and the COVID-19 pandemic. Prince Albert became the first Royal Patron in 1851; the reigning monarch has been Patron ever since, hence 'Royal'. From Oxford, where Ravensley is based, the venue is about 52 minutes by road (24.4 miles).

How the day runs

The organisers do not publish a private-car drop-off point on the pages we checked, so the car sets you down at the nearest permitted point. On dress, the guidance reads: stewards' Enclosure: men need lounge suit or jacket/blazer with trousers plus tie or cravat; women wear dresses or skirts below the knee, or trouser suits; no shorts, leggings, tracksuits or jeans. The chauffeur stays within reach for the whole day and brings the car round when you are ready to leave.
