The British Grand Prix by chauffeur
The British Grand Prix at Silverstone Circuit. In 2027 it runs 1–4 July. The event spans four days, with an Opening Concert and evening music entertainment. Silverstone hosted the first Formula 1 World Championship race, the British Grand Prix, on 13 May 1950. About 120,000 spectators, including King George VI, attended that 1950 race at the former air base. From Oxford, where Ravensley is based, the venue is about 51 minutes by road (34.6 miles).
How the day runs
For drop-off, the organisers' rules apply. The circuit does not provide a drop-off facility. Visitors are directed to shuttle buses from rail stations or park-and-ride sites; locals can use a drop-off/pick-up point at Towcester Racecourse with pre-booked bus tickets. Parking must be booked. The chauffeur stays within reach for the whole day and brings the car round when you are ready to leave.
