Chauffeur to Epsom Downs Racecourse
Epsom Downs Racecourse stages flat racing. The first recorded race meeting in the country took place at Epsom on 7 March 1661, attended by Charles II. Just off M25 junction 9, a few minutes from Epsom town centre on the B290. Raceday parking is complimentary except on Derby days and the Bank Holiday Family Fun Day. Its biggest days include The Betfred Derby (June), The Betfred Oaks (Ladies Day) (June). The 2027 calendar includes Spring Meeting (20 April); Derby Festival - Ladies Day (Oaks) (4 June); Derby Festival - Derby Day (5 June).
How the day runs
From Mayfair the drive is about 49 minutes via the A3205, A3 and A240; from Heathrow, about 36 minutes via the M4, M25 and B280. From Oxford it is about an hour and 20 minutes (71.4 miles). Dress: 'Dressed to feel your best' across the course, but the Queen Elizabeth II Stand has a smart dress code on Derby Day. The chauffeur sets you down at the entrance for your enclosure, waits nearby through the card and is ready after the last race.
