The Festival of Speed by chauffeur
The Festival of Speed at Goodwood House. In 2027 it runs 15–18 July. Held in the parkland around Goodwood House, billed as motorsport's summer garden party. Daily schedule: car parks open 06:30, gates 07:00, hillclimb action from 08:30, bars close 18:30, event ends 19:00. The 1.16-mile hillclimb has been the centrepiece since the first festival in 1993. From Oxford, where Ravensley is based, the venue is about 2 hours and 8 minutes by road (99.4 miles).
How the day runs
For drop-off, the organisers' rules apply. All cars follow event signage to Gate 1, the designated drop-off and pick-up area. Car parks open 06:30 and are free. On dress, the guidance reads: no formal code: flat comfortable shoes, casual clothes and light rainwear advised for parkland; smart casual required in corporate hospitality pavilions. The chauffeur stays within reach for the whole day and brings the car round when you are ready to leave.
