The Goodwood Revival by chauffeur
The Goodwood Revival at Goodwood Motor Circuit. In 2027 it runs 17–19 September. The event recreates the circuit's original era, 1948 to 1966, with historic racing and period fashion. The first Revival was held in 1998. Goodwood Motor Circuit officially opened in September 1948, when the 9th Duke drove a Bristol 400 around it. From Oxford, where Ravensley is based, the venue is about 2 hours and 5 minutes by road (98.6 miles).
How the day runs
The organisers do not publish a private-car drop-off point on the pages we checked, so the car sets you down at the nearest permitted point. On dress, the guidance reads: no obligation, but guests are encouraged to dress in 1940s-60s period style, from a single vintage accessory to full head-to-toe looks. The chauffeur stays within reach for the whole day and brings the car round when you are ready to leave.
