The season from The Ned. The Chelsea Flower Show, 18–22 May 2027, takes about 19 minutes by road. Wimbledon, 28 June – 11 July 2027, takes about 34 minutes by road. For the Derby at Epsom, allow about 54 minutes for the 17.7 miles; it runs 4–5 June 2027. Guards Polo at Smith's Lawn, usually from April to mid-September, with the Queen's Cup between late May and mid-June, takes about 58 minutes by road. Nearest racecourses: Royal Windsor Racecourse is about 51 minutes and Kempton Park Racecourse takes 53 min. The Ned is Grade I listed. The Ned is on Poultry (EC2R 8AJ).
How the day runs
Take Wimbledon as the example: the drive from The Ned is 9.1 miles via the A3200, A3036 and A3205. On drop-off, the published arrangements apply: church Road is partly closed. Ride-share cars cannot pass the closure and must use drop-off areas on Marryat Road and Wimbledon Park Road. Registered debenture holders can request a pass for private chauffeur drop-off/pick-up in Car Park 5. Blue Badge drop-off is opposite Gate 13, Somerset Road. After the last race or the final session, the car is ready to go. Coming back to the hotel takes about 33 minutes, plus the time the car parks need to clear. Tickets come from the organisers; Ravensley has no link with any event and simply drives you there.
