Badminton Horse Trials by chauffeur

Badminton Horse Trials at Badminton House. In 2027 it runs 5–9 May. Competition covers dressage over two days, a roughly 4-mile cross country course, then show jumping on the final day. Gates open 8am Wednesday to Friday, 7am Saturday and 7.30am Sunday. There is no entry by vehicle or on foot after 3pm on Friday and Saturday; advance tickets are needed for every day. From Oxford, where Ravensley is based, the venue is about an hour and 31 minutes by road (77.4 miles).

How the day runs

For drop-off, the organisers' rules apply. A one-way system runs on the Saturday. Cars must use the designated drop-off point in Badminton Village, approaching from the south or west, not the north or through the Park; otherwise they cannot leave until after 14:00. Every car needs a parking pass. The chauffeur stays within reach for the whole day and brings the car round when you are ready to leave.
